Precision Digital Engineering

On-Demand Now

At the heart of Digital Engineering are the digital representations of systems and software engineering structures, relationships, behaviors, rationale, and more, integrated end-to-end throughout the engineering lifecycle in ways that can be comprehended, communicated, analyzed, and processed by both humans and advanced computer systems. The challenge of digital engineering is finding ways to precisely represent information that has traditionally existed only as tribal knowledge in the minds of subject matter experts and fragments of information scattered throughout e-mails, notes, images, presentations, spreadsheets, and other potentially hard-to-find documents.

Vitech and BigLever have teamed up to create a Precision Digital Engineering solution that helps address this challenge. Vitech GENESYS is recognized for the semantic precision of its Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models. BigLever Gears is recognized for the semantic precision and complexity reduction of its Product Line Engineering (PLE) models, tools and methods. Together Vitech’s GENESYS plus BigLever’s Gears and the GENESYS/Gears Bridge enable the most semantically precise Model-based System Family Engineering solution yet, thereby enabling true Precision Digital Engineering.
